The main concept in our design is to uncover the Attica’s physical substratum as well as the Athenian historical layers, in a creative way. The land becomes the structuring and unifying element of the site. A dynamic relation is thus created between natural and artificial elements, which allows the creation of a new urban open space that is flexible and adaptable to changes.
