Principal Manolis Anastasakis Manolis Anastasakis was born on the island of Santorini , Greece . He was assisted in his studies by a scholarship from the Athens Academy of Science. In 1983, he received his Diploma in Architecture from the Ecole speciale d’ Architecture (ESA) in Paris , France . During the academic year 1980-81 he attended courses in urban studies at the University of Paris VIII. On a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation, he continued post-graduate studies in Urban Geography at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris . He was awarded the post-graduate degree of DEA in 1985. In the years 1987-1989, he took part in the research activity of the Urban Geography workshop at the University of Nanterre-Paris X. He was employed as an architect by well-known firms in Greece before opening his own office in Athens in 1988. In addition to his architectural practice, Mr. Anastasakis has been teaching interior architecture at the Decorative Arts Department of the Athens Technological Educational Institute (TEI) since 1993. Since then, he has supervised more than 30 final year students’ papers. His drawings and projects have been presented in Greek and European exhibitions. He won an award in the “Europan 4” competition (1997), received second prize in a competition to design an ecological house in Greece (2000), and a project of his was selected by the Greek committee for the UIA competition (2003). His experience in designing school libraries is presented in his book: Redesigning Libraries for Schools. A proposal for secondary education (2003). In the year 2006 he poses the question over the construction of skyscrapers in Athens, with his case study for a “multiscraper” in the area of the ancient olive grove. Collaborators Dimitris FragkiasDimitris Fragkias was born on the island of Chios, Greece. In June 2003 he obtained his degree of “Interior Design” of the Superior Technological Educational Institute (?.?.?.) in Athens. He continued his specialization in Interior Architecture in the “Faculta Del Design” of the “Politecnico Di Milano” in Italy. He has a very wide knowledge of Informatics (Operational Systems, Design Programs, Microsoft Office Programs) and Internet. In the year 2004-2005 he took part in the reconstruction of several villages in his home town Chios. For the past 3 years he has been collaborating with many architects in interior design projects as well as Set Designs for well known TV Productions. Besides Greek, she fluently speaks Spanish, English and French and she holds official degrees of all the languages mentioned above. Since March 1995 she was a student at the Department of «Interior Architecture - Interior Design» of the Superior Technological Educational Institute (?.?.?.) in Athens. She specialized in Interior Architecture, and obtained her degree on November 2000 with the highest classification among all the Departments of the Sector. The academic year 2000-1, Aggeliki Tomadaki realized a Master’s degree in Architecture at the Superior School of Design “Elisava”, in Barcelona -Spain- with the subject: «Design & Public Spaces». On July 2001 she obtained her degree with a mark of distinction. The project of the Master was exposed at the Cultural Center “Centro de Cultura Contempor?nea de Barcelona”, (C.C.C.B.), downtown of Barcelona. In May 2001, she attended a seminar at the Polytechnic of Valencia -Spain-, with the subject: «Encounters of Public Art- Art and Public Spaces». She has a very wide knowledge of Informatics (Operational Systems, Design Programs, Microsoft Office Programs) and Internet. During the past 6 years, Aggeliki Tomadaki has realized various projects working at architectural offices and collaborating with civil engineers, and since October 2003, she has been an associate at the Architectural Office of Manolis Anastasakis. Mirsini Trigoni was born in Athens, Greece. Graduated from the Superior Technological Educational Institute (?.?.?.) in Athens with a first class degree in ‘Interior Design’.
After gaining a scholarship from the Greek Institute of Scholarships she continued her studies at the University of East London, in London (UK). In 2003 she gained her Master in Art in Architecture (studying specifically the design and production of window displays) and in 2008 she gained her PhD in Promotional Design.
Her expertise is interior design and visual communication, the relationship between commercial spaces and target audiences: how to use interior design so as to effectively target market segments and to enhance a brand and a brand identity. Since 2009 she works as a freelance window display designer, implementing effective design ideas to increase store traffic and sales volume. She also teaches on a Graphic and Spatial Communication course, lecturing on interior design and visual communication, preparing and executing exercises with the students, helping with design tutorials.
